Cut for the Body Underneath the Blanket
Under the check this is the same sighthound pattern as the rest of our range: long in the back, narrow through the chest, shaped at the shoulder. Drafted on an Italian Greyhound and a Whippet, then worn in by both.
Back length runs long — the rear hem covers the loin
Deep-chested cut follows the keel instead of gaping at the belly
Raglan shoulder keeps the front legs free at a full trot
Thin enough to layer under a shell on wet days
Doubles as pyjamas — most customers order a second for indoors
🐑Lambswool
A deep, brushed loop pile that holds warm air close to the skin. The same softness as the blanket he's already claimed.
📐Pattern Matched at the Seams
Each panel is cut to align the check across the chest and shoulders, so the lines run true instead of breaking into a mess at the join.
🧣Tall Funnel Neck
Two gathered layers of fleece at the throat. Covers the neck and the base of the ears without pressing on the windpipe.
🧦Folded Cuffs, All Four
Wide gathered cuffs turned back once — no draught at the ankle, and enough clearance that nothing drags on a wet pavement.
🚽Cut Away Under the Tail
The rear hem stops below the tail with a shaped opening, so squats and leg-lifts happen without undressing anyone mid-walk.
